What happens after you get in touch
- We call you back to confirm the details. Property use, approximate floor area, number of units, and who holds the keys. It takes a couple of minutes and it is what makes a fixed quote possible.
- You get a fixed price. Not a range and not a “from” figure. Travel is already included, so the number does not change after the survey.
- We book the survey and arrange access directly. If the property is tenanted or managed, we speak to the occupier or keyholder ourselves rather than passing messages back through you.
- The certificate is lodged within 48 hours of the visit and emailed to you, along with anyone else you want copied in. Most jobs run 2–3 working days end to end.
- We explain the result. If the rating is lower than you hoped, we will tell you why and what would realistically move it.
What to have ready
It speeds things up considerably if you can tell us:
- the full address and postcode
- what the building is used for, and whether any part of it is residential
- the approximate floor area, and how many floors or separate units
- whether it is occupied, and the best contact for access
- any deadline you are working to — a completion date, lease event or marketing launch
- any paperwork you already hold: a previous EPC, floor plans, construction drawings, insulation certificates or plant documentation
