Commercial EPC
Offices, retail, industrial and mixed-use. Required to sell or let non-domestic property, and the starting point for MEES.

Three brothers from Nottingham, Elmhurst-accredited, doing one thing properly: accurate certificates and honest advice about what they mean.
EPC GO is run by Jack, Joe and Jorge Stevenson, three brothers who grew up around a family business that improved buildings and reduced the energy they used, long before any of it had a label.
That is where the approach comes from. Not from a compliance seminar, but from years of watching buildings get measured, surveyed, insulated and fixed — and watching how often the paperwork failed to describe what was actually there.

R2G Limited does a range of energy work. EPCs kept turning into the part clients cared about most, and the part the market served worst.
The pattern was always the same. Somebody needed a certificate quickly, took the cheapest quote on an aggregator, and got back a PDF with a letter on it — no explanation, no floor plan, nobody to call, and in too many cases a rating that did not reflect the building. Then they came to us to find out what it meant and whether it was right.
So we built a separate business that does EPCs, DECs and MEES work and nothing else. One phone number, one team, one job. The assessors who survey your building are the people who answer the phone about it afterwards.
It is a phrase assessors use loosely, so here is exactly what we mean by it.
EPC software is deliberately conservative. Where an assessor cannot see or prove something, the methodology substitutes a default value that assumes the worst reasonable case. Unproven cavity insulation counts as none. An undocumented boiler counts as an old one. Lighting that was not properly recorded counts as inefficient.
Evidence-led means we go looking for the proof before we accept the default:
On a borderline building, the difference between a rushed assessment and an evidenced one is a whole band — and a band can decide whether a property can be let.
Our assessments are carried out by assessors accredited with Elmhurst, one of the UK’s leading accreditation bodies. Assessors are vetted, insured and work to the current government methodology, and every certificate is lodged on the official register within 48 hours of the survey.
Accreditation is the floor, not the differentiator. Every legitimate assessor has it. What you should actually be comparing is how long someone spends in your building, what evidence they ask you for, and whether they can explain the result when you ring them in six months.
